Primary Duties:

North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has a position open for a full-time Public Health Coordinator to work with and manage a variety of public health programs and activities such as, but not limited to:
- Substance abuse prevention & education programs
- Health & Wellness Programs
- Service coordination and navigation skills
- Coordination of Public Health Organization and Functions


Required licensures, knowledge and skills:
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to think creatively
- Work independently and as a team member
- Strong writing, oral and computer skills is a must
- Motivated and capable of self-directed work
- BA or BS degree preferred; public health, health sciences or nursing
- Experience with grants and contracts management, public presentations, and community/public health coordination is a plus. Must attain a strong ability to work in the public sector
