Primary Duties:

The League of Human Dignity is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full time Independent Living Advisor working out of our Norfolk Center for Independent Living. This individual will provide an array of services that assist people with disability to live independently in their homes and communities. Services will include information and referral, peer mentor services, advocacy, independent living skills training, and services that help people transition from nursing homes to independent living situations, financial benefits counseling, coordination of services, and a variety of other services that support people to lead independent lives. Coverage area for this position includes Brown, Cherry, Rock, Holt, Boyd, Keya Paha counties.


Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, counseling, educational psychology, education, human development, or closely related human service field, or equivalent full time experience, or a combination of education and equivalent full time experience required.
